B.A. DePauw Univ; The Juilliard School. Four-year Honor Performance Award. Founding Director: Crescent Trio and many Flute Choirs, including HBMS Flute Chorus with 1995 performance at White House. Former host: Cable TV Bravura. Principal flute with Stokowski, Jenkins, DeProest. Principal Flute: Composer/conductor series with Hanson, Dello Joio, Persichetti, Copland. Principal flute: All-America under Stokowski. Masterclasses and Flute showcases in New York, Boston, Charleston.

B.M., Bethany College; M.M. Northwestern University. Studied saxophone with Joseph Allard, Larry Teal; clarinet with Dominic De Caprio. Performs: Yonkers Pops Band, Bronxville Pops Band, American Recorder Society. Performer with other area concert and jazz bands.
LAURA DREYER - Jazz Saxophone, Flute, Clarinet
Berklee College of Music. Studied with Joe Viola, Joe Henderson, Joe Lovano, Lyle Mays, Hal Stein, and Jim McNeely. Performed with own band at the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts (Washington, DC), the Syracuse Jazz Festival, and various NYC venues. Sideperson with Diva (lead alto), Dr. Billy Taylor, Nenna Freelon, Walter Bishop Jr., Marilyn McCoo and Billy Davis Jr., Dom Salvador, Helcio Milito and many others. Extensive performing and touring in the US, Japan, and Europe as a jazz artist. Current faculty of the New York Pops "Salute to Music" program, and regular columnist for the magazine "Saxophone Journal". Two time recipient of grants from the National Endowment for the Arts.

JANET GRICE - Bassoon
D.M.A., bassoon, Rutgers University; M.M., jazz composition, New York University, B.M., bassoon, New England Conservatory. Performed with Karl Berger, Butch Morris, the STX Ensemble, Mingus Orchestra; Recorded for Music Minus One and produced 4 independent CDs of Brazilian and original music. Awards: Fulbright Fellowship in Brazil, grants from the National Endowment for the Arts, Westchester Arts Council Artist Grant, Arts International, Meet the Composer. Former faculty: Rutgers University and St. Joseph's College of NY. Faculty: NYC Dept. of Education, Lincoln Center Institute. Performs with Vento Trio, the Chappaqua Orchestra, and her jazz group.

Professional musician since age of eighteen. Conducted: American Wind Ensemble, Larchmont Symphony, Westchester Pops. PHYLLIS LANINI - Oboe
B.M., Indiana Univ.; M.M., Yale. Studied with Bloom. Principal/soloist: Washington Chamber Symphony. Member: Boehm Woodwind Quintette. Has performed with N.Y.C. Ballet, New Jersey Symphony, Brooklyn Philharmonic. Faculty: Manhattan School of Music, Westchester Conservatory. Recordings: Music Masters.
ED PALERMO - Saxophone
B.M., DePaul University. Jazz saz player and arranger. Spent the past 30 years playing with such artists as Tony Bennett, Lena Horne, Tito Puente, Aretha Franklin, Mel Torme, and many others. Leads the Ed Palermo Big Band which plays worldwide concerts dedicated to the music of Frank Zappa, as well as his original material. Featured: NPR's Weekend Edition. His CD, "the ed palermo big band plays the music of frank zappa" earned 4 stars in Downbeat Magazine. Arranged music for one of James Brown's final Hollywood Bowl concerts.
